Don’s 30-year career in financial services has been guided by a passion for managing large, sophisticated, often global institutional investment clients and prospects and helping them solve their investment needs in creative and dependable ways. These clients have included some of the largest, most complex public and corporate Pension Plans, Endowments and Foundations, Insurance Companies, Private Wealth Family Offices, Asset Managers and Investment Consultants in the U.S. Most recently, Don has been the Head of the Relationship Management and New Business Development team at investment consultant Cambridge Associates focused on their Endowment and Foundation clients handling all aspects of sales and service for these premier nonprofit investors.
Prior to that, Don led high performing teams of sales and relationship managers on the asset servicing side of two premier, global banking organizations. He served as Vice President and Regional Director of Relationship Management and Sales at State Street Bank and First Vice President, Director of US Investment Analytics Consulting at The Bank of New York Mellon. The groups that Don helped lead were referred to broadly as “Analytical Services” and their mission was to provide cutting-edge data, technology, tools and services that helped their clients measure, compare, analyze, understand and communicate their investment results. These capabilities included investment analysis products such as Global Performance Measurement and Attribution, Global Risk Analytics, Universe Comparisons, Compliance Monitoring, Trade Cost Measurement and Web-based Information Delivery Technology. In addition to promoting client understanding and use of these products, Don’s group was responsible for defining client requirements and translating them into future product direction and development.
